Chrissy Martinez is an award winning/published wildlife and underwater photographer based out of Gainesville, Florida just a short drive from the springs capital of the world. She was born at the beach in Caracas, Venezuela and where her love for the ocean and wildlife were in the cards from the very beginning.

She is most at home out in nature and focused on creating images and storytelling around water issues in Florida and all over the world. Documenting the despair as well as the hope. She spends all of her free time out on her paddle board that is strong enough to carry all of her equipment through long days into the night on the water.

She loves sharing stories from out in the field.  In addition to creating traditional prints she also specializes in creating large scale photo murals for business's that can be printed both inside and the outside of buildings. You can see her largest piece that covers the 17 by 19 foot wall in the DMV in Gainesville, Florida. She enjoys seeing how her work can transform the feeling of a space and so do the business's that she works with.

Currently creating stories and images on the ancestral lands of the Timucua, Mascogo,  Miccosukee and Seminoles.
